The Glooscap Campground is now closed for the season.
Bookings for the 2026 season will reopen in the new year.
Located in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia, the Glooscap Campground & RV offers:
• 39 seasonal RV sites with 2-way service (water and power)
• 14 unserviced tenting sites
• 8 sites with 20-amp service
• 16 sites with 30-amp service (5 are pull-through)

Glooscap Campground Rules, Terms & Conditions
Management reserves the right to refuse admission or ask any party to leave if campground rules are not followed. There is zero tolerance for theft or vandalism.
General Rules
• Speed limit: 15 km/h within the campground. ATVs and dirt bikes are not permitted.
• Site occupancy: One family and two cars maximum per site. Double tenting arrangements can be made at the office.
• Picnic tables: Only one per site.
• Electric vehicles: No charging on-site. A free charge station is available in Parrsboro, 5 km from the park.
Campsite & Fire Rules
• Campsites must be kept clean and tidy; deposit garbage in dumpsters by the office.
• No sleeping tents in RV serviced sites.
• Fires are allowed only in approved areas, if permitted by law. Fire pits cannot be moved; fires must be extinguished when unoccupied.
• Firewood and ice are sold at the office. Office hours:
High season: 12 PM – 9 PM
Low season: 12 PM – 8 PM
• Parents are responsible for any damage caused by their children.
• Site holders are responsible for their guests.
Check-In, Check-Out & Quiet Hours
• Check-in: 1 PM
• Check-out: 11 AM
• Quiet time: 11 PM – 8 AM
• Gate hours: Locked at 11 PM; all visitors must exit by 10:30 PM. Gate opens at 8 AM.
Environmental & Conduct Rules
• Cutting or removing bark from trees is prohibited.
• Alcohol is prohibited in public areas, including the beach; it may only be consumed on your registered site.
• Pets must always be leashed and walked only on gravel roads or the beach. Owners must clean up after pets.
• No washing of vehicles, boats, or RVs (water source is a well).
• No fireworks within the park.
We ask that you uphold these regulations to ensure a safe and pleasant stay for all guests. Please report any issues to the office.
Refund Policy
• 48-hour cancellation policy: Cancellations after 48 hours will be charged 1 night’s stay.
• Reservation holding: Reservations are held until 2:00 PM AST the day after your scheduled arrival. Unclaimed reservations are considered no-shows, and the remainder of the reservation will be canceled.
• Bookings 14+ days in advance: Cancellations 7 days prior will receive a 75% refund of the booking, minus the booking fee.
