Water Utility Tax Exemption By-Law

 

                                            (ASSESSMENT ACT, SECTION 3A(1))

 

1.         This By-Law shall be known as the Water Utility Tax Exemption By-Law.

2.         All buildings, pump stations, deep-well pumps, main transmission lines, distribution lines, meters and associated plant and equipment of a municipal water utility owned or operated by the Municipality of the County of Cumberland shall be exempt from taxation.


 

 

This is to certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a By-Law duly passed at a duly called meeting of the Council of the Municipality of the County of Cumberland held on the  13th  day of      November    , A.D.  1985    .
