 Penalties By-Law


 

 

Sec. 1.             All fines, forfeitures and penalties properly payable to the Municipal Treasurer for the use of the Municipality or which shall be otherwise payable to the Municipality for its use, whether the same shall by virtue of any Federal or Provincial statute or under the provisions of any of the chapters of these by-laws (except where otherwise especially directed by any such statute or by-law) all licenses or other fees shall be appropriated and credited and form part of the general fund of the Municipality.

 

Sec. 2.             Every person who violates any of the by-laws of this Municipality, and for the breach of which no penalty is therein specifically provided, shall upon summary conviction, for each offence be liable to a penalty not exceeding Two Hundred and Fifty dollars, and in default of payment to imprisonment for a period not exceeding thirty days.

A Harrison       , Clerk for the Municipality of the County of Cumberland, do hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a By-Law duly passed at a duly called meeting of the Council of the Municipality of the County of Cumberland duly held and convened on the     7th   day of    February      ,
