After a year of planning and construction, the first Public Art Installation in the new era of Parrsboro is ready! This original work is a symbol of the beauty and power of the mighty Bay of Fundy. It's a tribute to our past and points the way to a new prosperity for our future as the arts and cultural hub of central Nova Scotia.
The Rising Tide Sculpture was created by award-winning sculptor and installation artist Gerald Beaulieu, who lives in Stratford PEI. Gerald has a long-standing, successful track record in Public Art. His work is featured throughout Canada and is prominently displayed in Charlottetown, PEI.
The unveiling is Saturday, July 7 at 6pm before Old Fashioned Saturday Night at the Bandstand in Parrsboro.
Refreshments will be served. We hope to see you there!
