Learn 2 Lead - TUMBLEBUGS workshop

                      

 

Venue: Royal Canadian Legion Branch 17 (10 Elgin Street, Springhill)

Date: Thursday October 4, 2018      

Time: 4:00pm – 8:00pm                   

WORKSHOP:

This half day workshop will prepare you to lead children in basic movement and modified gymnastics skills. You will learn how to: ensure safety and reduce risk, set-up space and use equipment, demonstrate and safely teach all movements, lead the activities, understand how to flexibly use activity plans and keep it playful and fun. FACILITATOR:

Crystal is the current Tumblebugs Coordinator with Gymnastics Nova Scotia. She has been involved as a Tumblebugs trainer since 2009 and has two young children who have both enjoyed participating in the Tumblebugs program. She wants to see all children enjoying the benefits of physical activity and mastering key skills to be confident and successful in any sport or recreation activity throughout their lives. Crystal competed in the 2000 Olympic Games in artistic gymnastics and currently enjoys coaching at the Halifax ALTA Gymnastics Club.
