For non emergency or general inquiries please call (902) 667-2313 during regular business hours.

If you are reporting an emergency condition in the Municipality of Cumberland, please call (902) 667-2358. You will be guided through the following menu:

  1. Problems with Roads, Culverts or Ditches - Option #1
  2. EMO Officer - Option #2
  3. Canine control - Option #3
  4. Sewer Emergency Response - Options #4, #5, #6, #7 (only one operator is on call so you may have to retry using another extension if your call is not answered)

Please note if your emergency pertains to areas within the Towns of Amherst, Springhill, Oxford or Parrsboro to contact the Towns directly; please consult the blue pages in your telephone directory.
